报告摘要:
Graphene and graphene-based materials have attracted considerable attention over recent years due to their excellent electronic, electrochemical, optical, and mechanical properties. The high electron conductivity, together with a fast heterogeneous electron-transfer (HET) rate and a large surface area, make graphene an ideal material for applications in electrochemical devices. This presentation will first review graphene main features, synthetic routes and characterization techniques. After which, an overview on our recent works on the use of graphene as electrochemical platform for food science and point-of-care diagnosis will be given. A novel approach will be also illustrated, whereby graphene oxide nanocolloids are being employed as the electrochemical label and the signal generator for analytical detection.
